Leadership Team

Chris Mann


Chris has over 25 years of experience in product management and strategy. He is passionate about learning, creating, innovating, and delivering new customer value–particularly in the field of B2B marketing. In 2010 Chris joined a 15 person startup called Bizo, where he created a marketing automation system for B2B paid advertising and led the company through its $175M acquisition by LinkedIn. After the acquisition, Chris was involved in leading product strategy for LinkedIn’s advertising business. Prior to Bizo, Chris held product leadership roles at IBM and Coremetrics. Chris has a BS in Math and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.

Fun Fact: Chris plays electric bass in a sh*tty rock band that plays at bars in Marin County from time to time.

Nisheeth Ranjan

CTO and Co-Founder

Nisheeth is a tech entrepreneur with 20+ years experience in engineering and management at Netscape (bought by AOL for $4.2B in 1998), Liveops (grew to $125M+ in revenue in 2010), and Trulia (IPO in 2012, bought by Zillow for $3.5B in 2014). He studied Computer Science at Cornell (BS) and Stanford (MS, AI specialization).

Fun Fact: Nisheeth has founded 3 companies on 2 continents.

Nadim Hossain

Founder and Executive Chairman

Nadim started BrightFunnel to solve a problem that he had as a marketing executive–the inability to have full visibility into how marketing directly impacts revenue. Nadim has over 17 years of experience in building, marketing, and selling cloud applications. Prior to founding BrightFunnel, Nadim was VP of Marketing and Sales Development at PowerReviews, paving the way to a $170M exit. He was also a product marketing executive at during their hyper-growth years. Nadim has a BA from Cornell and an MBA from Stanford.

Fun Facts: Nadim is a former amateur boxer and has lived in 7 countries.

Ranjan Bagchi

Lead Architect and Co-Founder

Ranjan has over 20 years of experience leading development across a variety of different technology domains and loves building massive systems at scale. Ranjan has built everything from LinkedIn’s social profile backend to high-performance hedge fund trading systems. Most recently, he led the Hadoop and big data efforts at Bazaarvoice. Ranjan has a BS in math and computer science from the University of Michigan.

Fun Facts: Ranjan loves all things GSD: German Shepherd Dogs and Getting Stuff Done.

Zack Kass

VP of Sales and
Customer Success

Driven by great teammates, hard problems, and the pursuit of creating experiences people love, Zack joined BrightFunnel to lead the growth of our sales and customer success teams. Prior to BrightFunnel, Zack was Director of Enterprise Sales at Mixpanel, where he led the expansion of Mixpanel’s footprint in the Fortune 5000. Zack previously spent five years at CrowdFlower where he scaled their sales and customer success. Zack has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Fun Fact: Zack was the captain of the Cal Men’s Volleyball Team.

Jason Kalira

VP of Finance and Operations

Jason leads strategic planning and business operations at BrightFunnel, where he focuses on building the team, processes, and culture needed to scale a fast growing organization. Previously, Jason was a software investor at Battery Ventures and has spent the last ten years investing in, advising, and operating high growth technology businesses in the US and India. Jason earned his BS from The Ohio State University.

Fun Fact: For Jason’s 31st birthday he ate all 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins.

Steve Sanchez

Director of Customer Success

Steve is a proven customer success leader with over eight years of experience on the front lines managing a SaaS company’s most important asset–its customers. At BrightFunnel, Steve strives to drive customer adoption, advocacy, and processes to scale growth. Prior to BrightFunnel, Steve was a Senior Customer Success Manager for DemandBase and he also managed strategic accounts at Meltwater Group. Steve has a BA from UConn

Fun Fact: Steve is a certified DemandBase ABM Strategist.

Tiffany Iaconis

Head of Product

Tiffany leads Product at BrightFunnel, where she is responsible for the development, management, and execution of the product vision. She is passionate about solving tough problems for customers, and building the team and development processes to deliver solutions at scale. Previously, Tiffany managed advertising products and operations at both Amazon and Google. She also spent several years as a strategy consultant working with executive teams in media and technology companies. Tiffany has a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Fun Fact: Tiffany rowed for the Varsity Lightweight Crew team at MIT, and has run marathons in multiple countries.
